Rorschach Cake

So, I made a Rorschach cake. I know: a nerd who bakes. I used the same technique as the Rainbow Cake http://omnomicon.blogspot.com/2009/01/how-to-make-rainbow-cake.html except I went monochromatic. I used the Wilton black food gel from Michael's.

It may not be symmetrical like a proper Rorschach test but, hey, it's cake. My lovely wife frosted it and it's psychologically delicious!
